Will qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon at Edinburgh University in 1999. 11 years later, he moved to New Zealand where he worked as a Senior Lecturer in Dairy Cattle Health and Production. Will is a Member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Ruminant Nutrition as well as having a Certificate in Cattle Health and Production.
Will moved back to the UK over six years ago, working with the Evidence Group. He now joins Advanced Nutrition whilst also studying for a PHD at the University of Liverpool. His research centres on the protein metabolism in transitioning dairy cows.
Will really understands the links between animal health and nutrition, as well as having the ability to assess and understand the interaction of cows with their environment. He is passionate about good cow health, especially in the transitioning cow and is looking forward to working with our customers to maximise production (without compromising herd health of course!).
