Chris Walkland will present the latest outlook in the dairy markets and give us the prospects for the milk price over the coming months.

Marie-Laure Ocana, Dairy Technical Services Manager, Zinpro Europe will be speaking about making the right nutrition decisions in a volatile market with a focus on the transition cow. Marie-Laure has over 15 years experience in the dairy industry with an engineering degree in agriculture and an MSc. in animal science. Her technical focus includes transition cows, cow management and youngstock.

Joe Kirby, Kirby Cattle Services will join us for the Lancashire and Dumfries meetings with some practical workshops on optimising the cow environment, alongside Leigh Fletcher from LMF Hoofcare.

Colin Mason, CMVet Consultancy will talk through the health essentials for high yielding herds planning for long term herd health and performance.

Vet, Phil Elkins will talk about water quality and the impact on your herd at the Southwest meeting.

All in all some some really useful, practical information to build a robust herd for the future.
